MY RUNNING JOURNEY

The Power of the Mind

It seems like it was only yesterday when my best friend was coming to Toronto to run a half marathon and wanted to hang out after the race. Two weeks before the race, I decided to challenge myself and registered as well. While my friend was an experienced runner, I had never completed more than 5 km. Running a half marathon without training is not necessarily recommended by experts, but I pushed myself beyond my limits and found success. Not only did I crossed the finish line; long distance running became a passion.

The following year, I ran five half marathons and two 10k races in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City. Running soon became part of my routine and changed my life for the better. In 2018, I trained for my first marathon (42.2 km). In training, I overcame physical challenges by conquering my fears and finding peace of mind. This unlocked my running potential, letting me push my limits each and every race.
